Composition
Closantel 100 mg excipient sqf. 1 ml
Indications
Cattle and sheep.
Preventive and curative treatment of parasitic diseases:
-fluke: Fasciola hepatica, fasciola gigantica, immatureparamphistomum sp.
-nematodes: Haemonchus sp., strongyloides papillosus, bunostomum phlebotomum, oesophagostomum sp.
-arthropods: Hypoderma sp. (treatment of warbles)and oestrus ovis at all larval stages.
Administration and dosage
Subcutaneous route.
Cattle: 2.5 mg/kg or 0.5 ml for 20 kg bodyweight. In high challenge area, 0.5 ml for 10 kg bodyweight.
Sheep: Fluke infestation: 5 mg / kg or 0.5 ml for10 kg bodyweight. Nematode infestation and oestrus ovis infestation: 2.5 mg / kg or 0.5 ml for 20 kg bodyweight. Storageprotect from heat and light.
Withdrawal period
Meat and offals: 28 days.
Do not administer to dairy females whose milk is intended for human consumption.
Keep out of reach of children.
