Solids Handling Slurry Pump
Introduction:
Type ZGB are double casing horizontal slurry pumps designed by the Chinese local engineers based on modern hydromechanics and mechanics theories.
They are suitable for heavy abrasive and thick concentration applications with slurries pH range 5~14. Material of wet-end parts is hard metal only. ZGB pumps are very commonly used in Chinese domestic projects, but more and more overseas customers come to recognize their superb performance.
ZGB pumps are good choice for solids handling. ZGB pumps are only designed to be metal lined, which means the wear parts are not interchangeable with rubber parts. But this also makes ZGB pumps are very roboust in handling full flow high head slurry applications. The obvious advantage of ZGB pumps is that the rotating speed of ZGB pumps is fixed, either to be 740r/min, or 980r/min or 1480r/min, so the customer can use direct couplings to connect the pumps with the elec. motors to save the total cost.
