  Specification: - Pickups: A true classic. "Nickel silver"covers were discontinued on most humbuckers early in the 60' due to the diffculty in polishing and plating this very expense material. Brass was substitued and this is when guitarists noticed a deteriation in sound and  started removing the covers to regain the high frequencies that brass tends to mask,giving the opencoil look that we are familiar with today. Nickel covers not only give superior tone, and more natural highs they shield noise better, and look great too! "L" has five types of metal case with same dimension: lespaul,closed,open,open 11,open H types. The ceramic magnet model creates more powerful mid-range tone, and alnico v model has vintage classic tone. To remove inner metal case feedback,vacuum wax potted before assmbling metal case&pickup, and then wax potted completely after assembly. - P-bass pickups Alnico magnets and original spec dimensions give this series of pickups authentic tone and sound.
