Cold galvanized, also called electric galvanized, in the electroplating bath by unidirectional current of the zinc gradually plating metal appearance, production speed is slow, uniform coating, thinner thickness, usually only 3-15 Microns, bright appearance, poor corrosion resistance, general a few months will rust. Compared with hot dip galvanized, the production cost is low.

Hot dip galvanizing is in the melted liquid zinc dipping, fast production, coating thickness but not uniform, the market allows the minimum thickness 45 microns, up to a maximum of 300 microns above. Color is dark, zinc metal consumption, and the formation of infiltrated layer of the matrix metal, corrosion resistance is good, hot dip galvanized outdoor environment can be maintained for decades.
