It is 2.0mm double textured surface HDPE geomembrane, also called rough surface geomembrane. It is designed to improve the surface friction force, so the soil or other building material can stay stable onto it. There are single textured surface and double textured surface geomembrane. Membrane thickness is various.
HDPE geomembrane is a common geosythetic product widely used in human-made project as a waterproof material. Geomembranes are made from relatively thin continuous polymeric sheets, but they can also be made from the combination of geotextiles with asphalt, elastomer or polymer sprays, or as multilayered bitumen geocomposites. Continuous polymer sheet geomembranes are, by far, the most common form.
Textured surface is specially designed to increase the sureface friction force so as to improve the stability of the building materials over it.
