Based on the normal High Chrome Rolls, our company re-changed the chemical components, adopt more advanced modification technique to treat the molten iron, and use three-layer compound casting method, so the Enhanced High Cr Rolls have a better abrasive resistance and thermal shock resistance than normal High Cr Rolls and Pearlitic Cast Iron Rolls. Meanwhile, the surface of High Chromium Rolls are less likely to develop sticker breaks, hot crack and spalling.
Application: Intermediate stands and pre-finishing stands for Wire, Rebar and steel bar rolling mills
Using the enhanced High Cr Rolls for intermediate stands, the steel capacity / groove can reach the 1.8times of Pearlitic Cast Iron Rolls.
