Creating froth in mineral processing plants is an integral part of extracting copper and other base metals. In this case, the performance of the centrifugal pump used in this process is severely affected by air containment in liquids. Air in the slurry affects pump performance, reducing head and efficiency, and increases wet parts wear. SMAF150 froth pump is a vertical froth slurry pump with an outlet diameter of 6 inches. It is suitable for conveying abrasive and corrosive slurry with air in the flotation process, and can effectively remove the air in the slurry. In some cases, such a conical froth pump is also called a degassing slurry pump.
