Slurry Pump Bearing Assembly

Bearing assembly is an important part of slurry pump, which is used to connect the pump and motor. Its function is to transfer power and bear the force under working condition. The slurry pump bearing assembly is mainly composed of labyrinth, nipple, grease retainer, bearing housing, bearing, shim, end cover, shaft, piston ring, locknut and other parts.

The functions of each component are:

1. Labyrinth, nipple, piston ring, employed to seal both ends of bearing.

(1) Prevent leakage of bearing grease.

(2) It is to prevent debris and sewage from the outside of the bearing housing from entering the bearing.

The grease is injected into the nipple to seal and lubricate the piston ring.

2. Grease retainer: used to block a certain amount of grease to ensure the normal lubrication of bearings, while the excess waste grease through the gap between the grease retainer and the bearing is excluded into the bearing body.

3. Shim: used to adjust the bearing clearance of the rotor. Different rotors have different adjustment standards.

4. Bearing: According to the type of bearing, it can withstand radial or axial force to achieve different effective rotation.

5. Bearing housing: It is mainly used to support the shaft and the bearing, and maintain the terminal that can rotate on one axis and bear the force, and connect the working body and the power source.

6. End cover: used to fix and locate the exact position of the shaft, adjust the assembly clearance of the bearing, and withstand the axial force of the pump.

7. Shaft: It is used to connect power and work parts, transfer power to work parts, connects impeller and coupling.

8. Locknut: used to fasten the drive end labyrinth and bearings.
