White or off white crystalline powder

Indication

It can be used for anemia caused due to coccidia, wattle, pale eyes, toes with 

yellow color disappeared, row of brown dilute stools, or bloody stools as rotten 

meat kind. Some chicken screaming, flying, convulsions, for straight back legs, 

body tremors, side paralyzed, and some secondary soft neck, walking with head 

stretched forward, also can be used for rabbit coccidia caused by weight loss, 

anemia, pale skin and auricular, increased abdominal girth, coarse hair disorder, 

not spherical stool.

Dosage and Administration

For oral administration:

500 ml per 500 litre of drinking water (25 ppm) for continuous medication over 48 

hours, or 1500 ml per 500 liter of drinking water (75 ppm) given for 8 hours per day, 

on 2 consecutive days.

This corresponds to a dose rate of 7 mg of toltrazuril per kg of body weight per day 

for 2 consecutive days.

Note: supply the medicated drinking water as the only source of drinking water. Do 

not administer to poultry producing eggs for human consumption.

Side Effects

At high dosages in laying hens egg-drop and in broilers growth inhibition and polyneuritis 

can occur. 

Precaution

1. The curative dose is close to toxic dose, take care of over-commiting.

2. Mild hypersensitivity reactions may occur occasionally at the injection site, which can 

swelling, different sites can be injected to reduce stimulation.

Withdrawal Period

For meat: 

chickens: 18 days, turkeys: 21 days
