This product is white crystalline powder, odorless and bitter. This product is very slightly soluble in water, almost insoluble in ether, slightly soluble in ethanol and chloroform, melting point is 270 ~ 274 ℃.
Chemical properties: This product is easily soluble in potassium hydroxide and ammonia solution. It can react with ethylenediamine and water to generate aminophylline double salt.
Function and use
Smooth muscle relaxants and diuretics. Relaxes bronchial and vascular smooth muscle, inhibits the reabsorption of sodium and water by the renal tubules, and strengthens heart contraction. Used for bronchial asthma, but also for angina pectoris and cardiac edema.
