INNOTOX®︎ has the following three characteristics compared to conventional botulinum toxin formulations⇩

 

1. High safety

INNOTOX®︎ is the world's first formulation that is completely free of animal-derived substances and human serum albumin.

 

This makes it possible to suppress the occurrence of side effects of human serum albumin, such as fever, low blood pressure, difficulty breathing, dermatitis, and hives.

 

(Since the early 2000s, Europe and the United States have recommended not to use animal-derived substances or human serum albumin in the pharmaceutical manufacturing process.)

 

2. Highly stable liquid formulation

Conventional botulinum toxin preparations require freezing, so there is a risk of deterioration during transportation, but INNOTOX® can be stored refrigerated at 2-8°C, so there is a low risk of deterioration during transportation and the stability of the preparation is high.

 

Our clinic has a direct contract with Medytox, and when it is shipped from our directly managed pharmaceutical factory to the clinic, it is delivered in a triple-packed and refrigerated state. 3M's temperature control marker is also included, and thorough temperature quality control is performed, so it is considered to be more stable than other preparations.

 

3. Long-lasting effect

In a phase III clinical evaluation, INNOTOX® has been confirmed to maintain the improvement effect after treatment for a longer period of time than conventional botulinum toxin preparations. Allergan's Botox is said to usually last for 3 to 6 months, while the duration of the effects of Innotox varies from person to person, but is generally 4 to 9 months, and is said to have a longer duration of effect.
